Kobayat Municipality is a local government authority in Lebanon serving the citizens of Kobayat. As part of its digital transformation, the municipality needed a modern, Arabic-first digital platform that could improve citizen access to information, public services, municipal news, events, and official updates.
Edge Global designed a localized UX/UI experience across a municipal website and mobile app, helping Kobayat Municipality move toward a more accessible e-municipality model. The project focused on Arabic UX localization, RTL interface design, clear information architecture, and citizen-centered digital services.
The goal was to create a digital experience that makes municipal services easier to find, understand, and use, while helping the municipality communicate more effectively with its community.

The project focused on Arabic UX localization, RTL interface design, clear information architecture, and citizen-centered digital services.
The goal was to create a digital experience that makes municipal services easier to find, understand, and use, while helping the municipality communicate more effectively with its community.
Kobayat Municipality needed a digital platform that could centralize citizen communication and municipal e-services in one accessible experience. Citizens needed a clearer way to access news, articles, events, announcements, and public services without relying on scattered communication channels.
The UX challenge was to organize a wide range of municipal content into a simple and intuitive user experience. The platform had to support different user needs, from reading the latest municipality news to finding events, accessing e-services, and understanding how to interact with the municipality.
Because the main audience is Arabic-speaking, the experience also required strong UX localization. The website and mobile app had to be designed Arabic-first, with RTL layouts, Arabic content hierarchy, readable interface patterns, and navigation that feels natural for citizens in Lebanon.
